Dr. Howard Golan
Howard Golan, DDS, graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at North Shore University Hospital in New York. Dr. Golan also received two years of training in the Implant Surgery and Advanced Prosthetic Fellowship Program at NSUH.
In 2004, Dr. Howard Golan received a Mastership Certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute and utilizes the laser for procedures whenever possible. He lectures and teaches laser-assisted dentistry throughout the United States and Canada. Dr. Golan is the co-founder of the Center for Laser Education and is a faculty member with the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr. Golan is founder and leader of the Laser Assisted Dentistry program at North Shore University Hospital, supervising clinical training of dental residents.
Dr. Mark Schlesinger
Dr. Mark Schlesinger, DDS, is a Board-Certified Periodontist. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated at the top of his class. After completing specialty training, Dr. Schlesinger became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
As a pioneer and recognized expert on advanced laser dentistry, Dr. Schlesinger is frequently invited by professional organizations nationwide to lecture on the topic. Dr. Schlesinger has lectured at Annual Meetings for the American Academy of Periodontology, Greater NY Dental Meetings, WCLI Super Symposiums and the Academy of Laser Dentistry Annual Meeting. He also has prior experience as an ATC instructor at the Pankey Institute in Florida. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor on both the graduate and post-graduate level at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he is currently developing a Post-Graduate Laser Education Curriculum.
He is also a Master of the WCLI, a distinction given to dentists who have demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of lasers and their applications in dentistry, as well as a commitment to the advancement of laser dentistry.
